How to Make Web Videos and Add Them to Your Website

Here’s a simple, two-step way to create a web video player and add it to your own website — no coding required.

Step One: Create Your Web Video

Launch Any FLV Player and open the Playlist window, then click “Add” to bring in your FLV file. If your source video isn’t already in FLV format, use the built-in converter (under Tools > Convert Video Files) to convert it first.

Next, go to Publish > Publish for Web with Customizable Theme. Browse the available player themes and pick one that matches your site’s look. If you want more control, click “Customize Properties” to adjust things like movie size, playback behavior, and color scheme to match your website or blog. When you’re happy with it, click Publish.

Note: avoid using spaces in your project name, since it becomes the name of the published HTML file.

Step Two: Upload It to Your Website

To keep things organized, create a dedicated folder in your website’s root directory (something like “videos” works well) to hold the published files. Once publishing is complete, click “Open Output Folder” and upload everything inside it to that folder on your web host.

That’s it — no code to copy, paste, or edit. Once the files are uploaded, your video player is live on your site.
