Web Photo Gallery Thumbnail Effect

Beyond playing video, Any FLV Player’s Thumbnail panel can be used to build a clean, browsable photo or video gallery with a consistent thumbnail style across your site.

Setting It Up

Open Customize Properties and switch to the Thumbnail tab. From here you can set the thumbnail width and height, toggle a background color on or off (and choose the color), toggle a border on or off, and adjust the border size and spacing between thumbnails. You can also set the color used for thumbnail numbering, which is useful if you’re displaying an ordered gallery or slideshow.

Why It’s Useful

A consistent thumbnail style makes a gallery feel intentional rather than thrown together, and it’s especially handy if you’re publishing a series of short clips or images alongside your main video content. Once your thumbnail settings are how you like them, publish as usual — the same theme and settings will apply across your whole gallery.
